It's Back! Kids Eat Free returns for the Summer Holidays!

Kids Eat Free was a campaign by the local businesses of Leigh to help families over the Christmas holidays by providing people with cheap deals. This campaign turned out to be a great success, and as such, is being brought back for the summer holidays.

The offer will be run from the 24th of July until the 3rd of September. During this time, you'll be able to get some great deals for your child(ren) from local businesses such as Lilac Lounge, The Coffee Stop, and Café Central. However, this offer won't just end there, it also applies to some national chains within Leigh as well!

This campaign first started in September of 2022, when we received funding from a "Dragon's Den" event that was being held within the Leigh Rotary Club. From this funding, the Kids Eat Free campaign was born, with the funds being used to create a mini website for the campaign and promote the campaign throughout Leigh.

With this promotion, the campaign managed to gather support from various local businesses such as Nemiah, Leigh Works, The Good Estate Agent, Collins and Darwell, and Jacobi. These businesses all helped to manage the project, create the website and help spread the word about Kids Eat Free even further.

The Kids Eat Free site in question was developed by Nemiah, a company based in Leigh Works, who helped to push the campaign further with help from some local students from Wigan and Leigh College. With this campaign, Leigh Means Business has managed to find a practical way of supporting its local community in a way that will provide aid to those who need it whilst also helping to provide our local shops with some extra business over the holidays.

We will be offering additional promotion to the businesses that have signed up throughout the summer across our social media platforms and would be grateful to anyone who wishes to share this as well.
