Trams to Leigh?

Presently Leigh is the largest town in Greater Manchester without a train station and the 5th largest in the UK. Historically Leigh had two stations, Leigh Bedford and Westleigh, closed in 1969 and 1954 respectively due to the Beacham’s cuts.
