1 year agoHad the medium sized breakfast , everything was hot but not the plate . Poor quality produce lacking taste , however the coffee passable. Service un-informative slow & it's just a job . Only went in just to try as walked passed many time , wish I'd gone to my usual cafe . Not impressed sorry .

1 year agoOccasionally have a breakfast on a Sat morning. The two young girls running the cafe are so welcoming and really make the atmosphere. They obviously enjoy working there and it really makes it a nice place to visit

2 years agoBrilliant place for a breakfast, staff very polite and service is exceptional. Enjoy my food every single time, never have a problem. They even have colours and colouring sheets for children which is fab when they are waiting for their food. Highly recommend this place!

2 years agoI’ve had breakfast several times here and I also recommend this place to my friends. The food is always delicious and fresh. Good to have a shop like this in Leigh.
Only thing I’d change is the coffee. Probably an espresso machine? :)

4 years agoWe love going here and come at least once a month, but usually twice or more.
A very popular location, so sometimes it is a struggle to find a table.
They also do takeaway and delivery through the apps (just eat, uber etc) and get a steady stream of orders.
Cash only for in store purchases.
We almost always get one of the breakfasts, and they are always accommodating with substitutions. The food is delicious and good portion sizes for a very reasonable price.
They have decaf tea and coffee.
The staff are lovely and always happy to help, no grumpy people here. ?

4 years agoFirst time in today 23/03/22. I had he chip bomb and a luxury biscoff milkshake and they were both delicious. Definitely coming back again but with family. Staff is only very limited on a Wednesday but still really friendly and welcoming people. Definitely have yourself a new regular new guys, thank you.

5 years agoOne of the best takeaways! Amazing service, packaged with care, arrives hot every time, cooked perfectly and good quality food as well not stingy on portions. Also love the way the beans & tomatoes arrive in individual pots as to not drown the rest of the food. Love it!

5 years agoMe and my missus got married this afternoon, and afterwards we went to The Lilac Lounge for a meal. There was 7 of us in total, and the young ladies in the cafe catered for us brilliantly even decorating a table for us.
The staff were absolutely great and couldn't do enough for us, the food was to die for, I would certainly reccomend this place to anyone in Leigh looking for a meal whilst out and about. Me and my family will definitely go again.

5 years agoThe ladies here are so lovely, happy to accommodate your preferences. Excellent quality food, with excellent quality ingredients, at great value prices. In my opinion places like B.S.Gate Caf don't even come close, serving mediocre food at best. This is the place to order from. 5 years agoPicked up a takeaway today and it was exceptional! Jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw and 2x cheese and onion omelettes and chips. All beautifully cooked and presented - even in polystyrene boxes! The staff are all so lovely too! Thoroughly recommend!
