1 year agoA big Thankyou to Lauren and the team at Leigh! I called in for a brew but my iPhone died. They went out of the way, got a brew whilst they charged my phone so I could order an uber and pay for my brew. A nice little touch and proof good customer service still exists.

1 year agoLess than 5 minutes from me so very local with a good atmosphere, efficient, friendly professional staff, quick service and obviously great coffee. One of two Costas near me so I’m literally spoiled for choice.

1 year agoMy little sister wanted to give LOLA a 5* for her kindness on this occasion we came in as she was very shy I didn't want to go to ask for a caramel frappe, Lola came forward and spoke gently with her which made all the difference and made my sister's day!

1 year agoEvery time when I go there, the staff are always happy to serve you, with smiles. Yes it is on an expensive side, but I do like the taste of coffee they serve.

1 year agoThis is the second time now I have bought two large hot chocolates and both times there is only ever 3 quarters of a cup this is not on considering price for a large drink has now gone up and your not getting what you pay for……

2 years agoGreat service by friendly staff and all the tables were clear. Must say was one of the best coffees we've had in a Costa coffee. Well done, keep it up.

2 years agoAlthough the staff are generally really chatty and pleasant, the place has steadily gone downhill. It's common place now to clear and wipe your own table even when there is no queue inside, they simply don't keep on top of it. Recently sat and watched one barista, who left people standing waiting to be served to go and 'clear tables' just stand and chat for ten minutes then later stand and chat for twenty minutes while tables were piled up with dishes. The floor is often dirty or covered in rubbish. There are a few really hard workers in there who offer great service but some of the young women let the team down unfortunately and treat their work as leisure time.

2 years agoStaff pleasant, however seen a member of staff empty the rubbish bins then went directly back to serving food and drinks to customers without washing his hands. Not very hygienic at all.

2 years agoWent through drive through ordered salted caramel frappe for my partner back home ( no coffee ) When I got home ( 4 miles away ) It contained coffee. Ended up throwing it away £4 wasted Not very happy customer as well as being £4 out of pocket ?

2 years agoSmall place which was busy so must be popular. Service was a bit a slow, one girl standing looking at me from behind the counter but not really doing much until someone else prompted her to take my order. Had a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. It was luke warm so had to drink it quick and not very tasty. I don't normally compare with other places on reviews but I tried Starbucks a few weeks ago and the same drink there was much better, hot and extremely chocolately. I paid extra for the cream and marshmallows and noticed that the regular hot chocolates other people had had small Terry's Chocolate Orange pieces on their saucers, I didn't get those and they probably would have been nicer than the marshmallows. Probably won't go back to Costa again as I'm not a coffee drinker. Plenty of parking as it's situated on a retail park and easily accessible. Limited space inside if you are a wheelchair user (I'm not, but it was still slightly cramped)

2 years agoNot much of a Costa fan but I love this Costa they have amazing drinks but as I've been going the staff isn't the nicest but over all the drinks are amazing I'm more of a starbucks fan but there isn't a starbucks close to me so the best option is Costa as u said the not the nicest they seem like they really can't be bothered to be there they basically throw the drinks in our face and the look on there face when the Costa card doesn't work is disgusting they need to be more nicer to there staff and I will say one of the guys working there is so friendly that's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because its funny he changes his voice everytime I go

2 years agoDepending on the day and time, the cues can be long. I prefer to order on the app for click and collect because to bypass the cue. I love the atmosphere and the staff is so friendly. It is my favourite place for morning coffee or socialising. Food tastes good and is served well by friendly staff.

2 years agoA very bright and airy cafe, however I counted 9 tables that had not been cleaned and where full of used cups, etc. The staff member who took our order was very pleasant and as usual the coffee was the costa usual standard. We thought we would try using our own reusable cups for the first time and it worked well. We managed to find clean table and sat in-store to enjoy our drinks. After a while a staff member started to remove the used cups, etc from the tables. For some reason he didn't clear two of the tables and never wiped any of the tables down. We eventually finished our drinks and by now some of the cleared tables had been occupied with new customers. At no time did any staff member wipe any of the tables down.

3 years agoBy far my favourite Costa store, the staff are lovely and are a credit to Costa. I have some food intolerances and staff members are always willing to answer any questions and check the allergens booklets to confirm. Plus, the new bubble tea drinks are great.

3 years agoGo here a lot when I can, some of the staff are friendly and some just want to do the job and don't really engage in any conversation which is a shame given the price you are paying for the drinks and food. It can get very busy at times and I would just go to the small Costa in next just a min away.

4 years agoThe coffee is fantastic as always in a Costa. The cakes need to be stored better though as I could tell the cake I had was left out for a few hours and going stale. The flavour was still there though. Overall it would not stop me visiting and I will recommend the place to everyone.

4 years agoA very very dirty place the manager is the dirty person i ever see before covid used to be nice coffes and clean now no it look so dirty tables and the floor so sticky. Pls change menager and make this coffe shop how it was before

4 years agoVisited this branch previously to my most recent visit. I'd had a horrible night at work, the worst in my career and I was a bit of a wreck. Needed a little sugar hit to reset myself. The staff were absolutely wonderful with me, helped me through my ordering because my head wasn't in the game and made sure I got that sugar fix. The little things matter so much and that is what this store is excellent at.

4 years agoWhy do staff put toasties teacakes etc on grill/oven on before they have even made the drinks for the customer in front of you..So it is cold by the time they have finished making your drinks....Obviously couldn't care less..Customer Service at Costa not what it was sadly......

5 years agoMy table was quite sticky with visible stains. A number of tables were awaiting clearance & when I tried to use the sanitizer that was available near the counter, it was empty. No signs about mask usage. Coffee was lovely!

5 years agoI'd gone off Costa in the last few years: Nero tastes more full bodied. However, this was better than I remembered it. Lovely flat white and sugar-free hazelnut syrup that wasn't too sweet. And really good service.

5 years agoDespite a queue, the staff worked quickly and I didn't have to wait long. Friendly, efficient staff. Only disappointment was I couldn't collect my Costa points. The scanner wasn't working.
