Stingy portions, and a number of times our order has been wrong when we got our food. The McDonald's on parsonage retail or even the one in Asda are much better.

1 year agoTakeaway order completely wrong order by a country mile. Ordered for one and looks like I got a families. Good look sharing the one sausage and egg McMuffin with no cheese (allergy). I can’t even eat the 4 McMuffin breakfast or 2 wraps as all have cheese on. Rang up complained kept saying hello can’t hear you until on the 4th time I said I know you can ****** hear me and she put phone down. 5th of ringing spoke to me and said I have go through just eats. So no brekkie and a 48hr wait see if I get refunded.

1 year agoThis review has no reflection on the establishment it's self . While using the self service ordering machines a eastern European female deliberately pushed past me (abuse) common assault ,if I had reciprocated and retaliated back I would have been labelled "racist"! For those who's not familiar with the UK law system Common assault, as defined by {section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 an act that intentionally or recklessly causes another person to apprehend immediate unlawful violence. This means someone is committing common assault if they intentionally or recklessly cause another person to fear or anticipate immediate violence, even if no actual physical harm occurs. *This is not excepable behaviour whether you have children with you or not. If you want to see your children again I higher suggest you abide by UK law . A first offence of common assault has a maximum penalty of 2 years imprisonment. However, you will generally be dealt with more leniently by the Court. Common Assault, Criminal Justice Act 1988 (section 39) Racially/religiously aggravated common assault, Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (section 29) Assaults on emergency workers, Assaults on Emergency Workers (Offences) Act 2018 (section 1) Section 39 Triable only summarily Maximum: 6 months custody Offence range: Discharge - 26 weeks custody Racially or religiously aggravated offence - Section 29 Triable either way Maximum: 2 years custody

1 year agoI honestly can not believe how bad this place is. The staff are coughing all over their hands, there wasn’t one customer in there they didn’t stink. After not paying attention to their job, the staff was having a laugh and joke and then realised they had to get my chips… they were then rushed into a fries packet and served to me stone cold. The whole place stinks really bad, the food quality was incredibly poor. I’m actually so shocked. Can’t believe I’ve just paid £9 to breathe in stale urine, eat stone cold fries and eat a burger that felt like it was built by a 3 year old.

1 year agoI was told I'd have to wait for 5 mins for an apple pie I didn't even order. I then waited a further 20 mins for 2 coffees and a mcflurry, my drinks was cold after 20 mins of waiting and told the ice cream machine don't work... do I need to say anymore? ..... yes I do , I asked for my money back and even the apple pie money I didn't even order haha. It's like children playing kitchen in there, alot of anger behind that counter.... kids not playing nice with each other....

1 year agoThere was no one except to people at imce on the till, it took ten minutes just for someone to start making the drinks for the orders, my drink which is supposed to have cream had zero cream.

1 year agoOrdered three drinks and a hash brown. After five mins I realised our order wasn’t in the screen so asked had someone taken it by mistake. The child behind the counter in a managers uniform said no and she was doing it now. After ten minutes with no other customers. Five staff behind the desk doing nothing, one of them trying to improve his Michael Jackson impression which was almost as bad as the service in this absolute dump I gave up and got a refund. My order still somehow wasn’t fully ready. 2 got chocolates, a fruit shoot and a hash brown. Not that hard

1 year agoSo apparently the staff don’t even know the ingredients of the items on the menu. Ordered a Philly cheese stack for it to come with just the burgers, abit of cheese and some onions. No pickles or crispy onions which is what makes this burger different. As well as forgetting straws and sauce as usual. Honestly thick as pig ****.

1 year agoThe place was cold, like a refrigerator. The muffin was so small it was ridiculous. Underwhelming and uncomfortabley cold.

1 year agoPoor customer service. Staff have no urgency to serve customers. Clearing numbers of the screen and then forgetting what orders are to be collected. Staff uniforms always looked dirty and have hair trailing over food areas.

1 year agoSo i came here after the cinema, and a few months ago i came. I can say it was better this time round. Food was good, chicken nuggets, double cheeseburger and garlic bread dippers were all hot, staff were kind and helpful, asking people if they needed help on the kiosks

1 year agoOn the panel the order is in progress than it goes to collect panel , then it disappeared and they start calling the following numbers , and when you taught they forgot about it , a kid behind the counter shouted it's number 5-10 min after your number disappeared from the panel... each time I go there is the same , and the food delivery has priority

2 years agoVisited today at 2 00 had to take my fries back three times the first time the fries were cold ,next time they were under cooked the third time they was still under cooked and cold ,the staff stated the fries could not be under cooked because they are cooked on a timer ,two lady's with different orders both took there fries back also as there's were cold , no milkshakes or other ice drinks were available even thought that one guy from their staff was walking around drinking one.we feel really very disappointed with today's visit ,usually we visit McDonald's every Sat morning and have not felt the need to complain before ,Today I feel that this was needed

2 years agoIt's so slow at every point of the day, regardless of how busy. It's also uncomfortably cold, why anyone would want to sit in is beyond me.

2 years agoIf you are in Leigh and feel like a McDonald's, other then this location where else can you go? No choice, that said, I've never had a problem with any of the food, the staff are always on point even though you can see the frustration in their faces. I think the latter has to do with their equipment ??♂️ tbh I wouldn't want to work in a McDonald's kitchen and definitely not for minimum. I find through my 300+ years of life that the usual problems with McDonald's are the customer. If you add an Uber eats driver or two to the place..... Pandemonium.

2 years agoAbsolutely disgusting, collect order popped up 10 mins before order was actually ready. When we got it home few items missing so had to go back to collect. Definitely won't be returning there. Staff faffing about not knowing what they was actually doing. Customer service skills zero. Everything cold. Went back to pick up things missing after ringing surprise surprise no manager to speak to disappeared from shop floor.

2 years agoToday I visited leigh macdonalds as I haven't been in this one for while . The food was lovley and hot . Great friendly customer service. The restaurant was very clean . I rate this macdonalds 10 out of 10 .

2 years agoUseless, messed up my meal. Rang up to complain after walking home, and they expected me to take another half an hour out of my day to go back and prove they'd messed up, just so they could get my order right. Clowns.

3 years agoVery poor service and standards for quality of food, majority of staff are often morbid and the quality of the food is extremely poor, errors are made for orders and wrong food is either delivered locally or delivered in a poor quality, after service is poor and little to no customer service, sel serve tills are often out of paper for receipts leaving customers unsure of their order number. The Mcdelivery service for this store is also lacking with missing orders and inconsistencies in the app for delivery times and quality SLA approaches.

3 years agoPlaced an order this morning for breakfast. Got it delivered through the macdonalds app. The fact od arrived by courier and was all sealed up so nothing wrong from that. The order was missing a cheese and egg mcmuffin and the mcmuffin that was mine had tomato sauce on it rather than the brown I asked for. I tried to bring up my order in the app and it just kept saying go to uber eats which didn't apply as they did their part well. I ordered through macdonalds app. I then rand the store and was told to go back to the app, I did this and still got returned to uber eats. Every time we order from here they get it wrong weather its ordered take away or in store. There's a real problem with this and I think it's mine because I keep going back. Absolutely rubbish and no way of getting a refund. So I will be visiting in person to voice my complaint to the manager in due course.

3 years agoWorst McDonald's I've ever been to. Food is good and hot, but the customer service is horrendous. I needed a code for the toilet, so I waited at the counter. There was a woman fanning herself (yes it's hot) but she walked past me multiple times and ignored me. Then after 15 minutes, I went in, the toilets weren't exactly clean, but the next thing I saw was the same woman standing outside, on her phone, smoking. Don't visit if you want a good time.

3 years agoSituated near the Leigh Interchange, this McDonalds provided hot, fresh food. Gets crowded during peak hours so I would avoid it then. Minus that, its a McDonalds, not much else to say.

3 years agoFood OK sometimes warm or cold soggy chips or warm burger been sat there how long slow service to busy cooking making loads of uber and just eat orders then being left on side to go freezing no one collects for ages very un organised full of kids messing about abusing staff etc not great won't be long till they close at night due to problems management sort it out

3 years agoI didn't get the ticket number and when I asked somebody for help they said they'd check for me then completely forgot about me and I was stood there for 10 minutes, turns out my food was there waiting and they were shouting my number out and I had no clue, my food was cold by the time I just went up and asked if it was my items on the order, the number was being shouted really not long after I ordered it so the service is fast but the customer service is was rubbish, could also see that the manager was frustrated at colleagues and was tense to be in there

3 years agoUnfortunately had a bad experience here. Went to purchase my breakfast roll and coffee, and the wait was absolutely huge. They'd even taken off at least 10 orders off the waiting screen because they were that far behind in service. It showed 59 and they were still calling out 49-58. I ended up having to abandon my breakfast as I waited that long, and had to make it in time for my bus. Wasted money, waste of my time. Poor service. 6 members of staff behind the scenes, 1 member of staff out on front. Young lad. Not his fault. Not happy.

3 years agoRude staff, no manners...member of staff telling people that i cant park outside ??? jog on... really rude to a family saying they couldn't sit in the restaurant at 1830hrs because they were closing ?. Asked what time they shut and they said soon at 1825hrs , more like their cleaning the table and not letting people sit down again so they dont have to do their job and clean the table again. Get your p45 ready love you shouldn't have a service job were you interact with people.

4 years agoDon't get delivery from here, ordered double sausage, egg and bacon roll with cheese and this is what has arrived. Swimming in ketchup to point it's not edible. I mean the order isn't even close to what I asked for. This isn't even the first time this has happened. Hire staff that can read!

4 years agoA bit late for lunch for me (13.30 on a wednesday). Used screen to order an 'eating in' meal and 'pick up at counter'. As per usual for most McDonalds, the young chap didn't read the paper slip and I was presented with everything in a bag. The tables were all grubby and, need I say, I shall never come here again. If I stooped to these low standards, I'd end up with a bad back.

4 years agoTried to enter with our granddaughter at 17.50 pm and were intimidated by at least 15 youths who deliberately blocked our entrance into the premises, why is nothing being done about this anti social behaviour in bradshawgate, just aggregation and teenagers swearing at you. We just turned away and went some where else. Shame on you macdonalds you should be doing something about this

4 years agoAsked why I could not chose porridge on the menu,only to be laughed at by a young girl saying they have not done it for years????After checking Google, it explained,porridge was temporarily unavailable due to Covid safety measures..This member of staff needs training on product range and customer service,and judging by the cleanliness of the place ,all need training on housekeeping.

4 years agoWalked in with a mask and was told I didn’t need to wear it!! This was just after lockdown rules were relaxed. Absolutely absurd. Place was filthy, so we left without ordering.

5 years agoI were not allowed to go inside without mask... It were not busy at all but still couldnt grab a coffee and leave... Mask is mandatory... But eating inside is not allowed yet.. I wasnt allowed inside while two tables were sitting and eating INSIDE with no masks on.... I am exempt from wearing mask but there were no questions about it... Thank you Macdonald... Not comming back

5 years agoI often take my friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is flavorable and the team is generous and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we pass a cheerful evening. warmly recommended.

5 years agoOn entry I was confronted by a large, unattractive, ginger haired woman wearing sunglasses inside the “restaurant”. I don’t wear a face mask as I am exempt due to a hidden disability, but I was rudely spoken to by this greeter girl who demanded I put one on. I told her I was exempt, to which she demanded to see proof of it. I informed her she shouldn’t be doing that as it’s punishable by a fine of up to £6,500. She still demanded to see my evidence of exemption, so I showed her as I always carry proof with me. I didn’t stay long enough to order anything having been targeted for humiliation and embarrassment. I will also be contacting the relevant authorities after this experience.

5 years agoPreviously reviewed giving McDonald’s a 3 star rating saying place was clean and food was basically just McDonald’s food ?♂️... So i went again on a Wednesday at 6pm thought I’d place a order via the McDonald’s app so I’d be in and out quick... how wrong i was, i placed my order on the app shortly before arriving yet i still waited 24 minutes for my food. Inside there was loads of Uber eats staff sat about awaiting there orders ?♂️ hence very big delay in my getting my order, I know it’s due to a queue for other customers ordering food via Uber eats yet for a customer going in for food I’d never order food again unless i could see it was a lot quieter. Food was okay tbh and all correct ? yet it was by far from fast food.. I’ll definitely be avoiding McDonald’s Leigh for a long time and taking custom elsewhere until things improve and re review again then.

5 years agoPay for what you get, its tasty fast food. They could really do with monitoring the seating area's though, me, my wife & daughter had listern to two young teens swearing, shouting and talking rubish! You would get more people in if you baned idiots like these.
