The room hire was very reasonable, the catering was superb, and bar prices are very reasonable, would recommend it too anyone,

1 year agoBeen here several times in the past, however I don't know what's happening with the catering but the food was terrible, very poor quality buffet. Quiche thick pastry, similar depth of topping your guess is as good as mine as to the flavour slices cut small the size of Cadburys fingers.
As for the sandwiches you could guess all day as to the fillings apart from ham you could just about tell with it being pink. Sloppy coleslaw . I know times are hard and costs have gone up, but for what was charged it was disgraceful. I don't know who the caterers are but I'm embarrassed for them. Sad for the hosts who had to pay for it.

2 years agoAttended a daytime makers market. Room was a decent size. Toilets were lovely. But there is a lack of immediate parking.

3 years agoNice little place, today I have been there to check out the Leigh Job Fair. It seemed well organized and the place was full with stalls. Earlier I have been there on a wedding.

3 years agoI got married here in August last year and it was lovely. The ceremony was awesome and the registrar was great even though I got the giggles! Would definitely recommend as a wedding venue

6 years agoWe went to an exhibition of children's theatre and dance. Insufficient parking for size of function. Tables far too big and poorly arranged so took up too much floor area around dance area and therefore inappropriate for the function.

8 years agoI attended a dinner dance for about 100 here in February 2018. the bar service was slow with only 2 bar staff. Food was decent but basic. Need to estimate the demand for service better, can't have 100 people waiting for a drink for over 20 minutes.
