The selection of ales they have on are a must of all you real and cask ale fans.

3 years agoGreat pub for the beer lover. Constantly cycling beers so there's always something new to try. Staff are friendly and helpful, what more could you want.

3 years agothe bobbin is a great ale drinking facility. i came here for the first time a few weeks ago and the bar women was very friendly and we had a nice chat about the beverages on offer and about the establishment itself. i felt very welcomed and will be returning in the very near future. a wide array of pump ales and bottled ales to choose from.

3 years agoA great place for getting together with friends, also..they have ACOUSTIC NIGHTS on Tuesdays( check with the venue for details) and drinks are cheaper.

4 years agoIt's like drinking in someone's lounge. It's a micropub supporting regional brewers. It has its locals but they have always been more than welcoming.

4 years agoA cracking little pub in the centre of Leigh. With a variety of different ales changing on a weekly/daily basis. The only down side to this pub is the door "situation." There is essentially a single door into the location. On a cold night/day when someone enters or leave there is a cold chill that will travel across the pub, which can be quite annoying.
Other than that, best real ale pub in Leigh.

4 years agoReally lovely atmosphere in here and some smashing session strength beers on cask. Fantastic place. But beware! The pumps revolve like the wheels of a fruit machine!! Blink and it's gone! Live music most Sundays. Cracking drinker!

4 years agoReally enjoyed the open mic night. Some fantastic very talented musicians. Beers are always excellent and the free pork pies always go down well.
