Used them to buy my first house and to sell and buy my second. I would 100% recommend! They are personal and lovely. Easy to get hold of (which is important when you want updates!) lovely family and want to make sure others use them too

2 months ago⭐☆☆☆☆ 1 star (would give 0 if I could) Absolutely awful experience with Hunters in Leigh – especially Antonia. Completely disorganised from start to finish. Her inability to do basic counting nearly cost me money – it felt like I was being scammed. The whole process was a shambles, creating more hassle than help. They sent me two different invoices for two completely different addresses, including someone else's bank details – a shocking breach of data protection. If that’s what they’re doing with sensitive information, it’s frightening to think what other errors are slipping through. They failed to meet key parts of their contract, including regular property checks. When I asked for records, they couldn’t even find them! How they’re still in business is beyond me. Avoid at all costs. Double-check every single document, because they clearly won’t. Pure rubbish service.

1 year agoHunters recently handled a house sale for us. Whilst the process was frustratingly long, Hunters were always there for us along the way. They were accurate with their valuation and secured a full price purchase.

1 year agoWe have just bought our first home through Hunters and had a great experience. All of the staff were helpful and explained things that I didn’t quite understand without question. Antonia went above and beyond in ensuring that things moved promptly and it was much appreciated. Emily was also extremely helpful. Thank you so much for all of your help.

2 years agoWe recently bought our house through Hunters and are so pleased with the service we received throughout. It's so important to have an estate agent that you can build a rapport with, trust, and who can guide you through each step! Mark showed us around the house and was able to negotiate our offer to the seller which we are extremely grateful for. Antonia has been absolutely fantastic and helped me every step of the way, she made sure I was updated regularly and always got back to my questions quickly. Emily helped so much too, chasing things up and making sure everything got tied up quickly. We are so grateful for all of your help! The whole process was quick and as easy as can be! 2 years agoI sold my property with Hunters (Leigh branch) in a matter of weeks having moved over from another agent. My onward purchase was also through Hunters. I cannot fault them, Antonia and Melanie were extremely helpful from start to finish and went above and beyond to help us get to the end. I would highly recommend Hunters for both selling and purchase.

2 years agoSelling your home can be a stressful time. We recently purchased a beautiful bungalow via Hunters estate agents Leigh. The team was very professional, but a special mention must go to Antonia who was so helpful,with solicitors jargon. Contacting the vendor, and assuring us things would go according to plan. They did. Well done Antonia.

3 years agoWe sold our house with Hunters and also bought our new house through Hunters. It was very straight forward ,only 8 weeks , good negotiation for our new house too . We viewed the property 4 times and Hunters accommodated it each time with no problems . Very friendly, very calming and informative when anything arose. 3 years agoIf you are looking for a professional and personable Estate Agent to sell your house I highly recommend Hunters. They were extremely accessible and personable. They made selling my house so easy! Was kept informed every step of the way and nothing was too much trouble. They also advised me on a solicitor who also was brilliant. Top class service and sold my house within days of being advertised. Top class Estate Agents!

3 years agoHunters was one of 3 Extate agents I asked to value the property .Mark was the most thorough of the 3 agents and really had a good look around the property and took in all the good selling points which I think the others missed . He. Gave me a realistic view of the market and his valuation was slightly below the other 2 but perhaps more realistic at the time . Communication with the girls in the office was good and we got a buyer a few months later for more or less the asking price . All went to plan even though sales were taking longer than normal at the time . I Was particularly impressed with the support and assistance from hunters to get it over the finish line when tight deadlines were imposed by the buyer Overall a great service and would recommend

3 years agoI rarely leave reviews but felt that I had to leave one after just recently selling our house with Hunters. Various issues arose making it not an easy process! Antonia was fantastic and really did go above and beyond for us. She made a very stressful process a lot easier to deal with. Would definitely recommend!

This was my first time selling a house and they made the whole process straight forward while maintaining communication throughout. I have already recommend friends to Hunters and I would to anyone else. I have to Mention Antiona too as she has been fantastic and so helpful, Which made what can be a very stressful process run smoothly. Thank you Hunters

3 years agoMark Littlewood from Hunters Estate Agent what a salesman! Firstly, he will overprice your house, ours was overpriced by 75K in comparison to other estate agents, he will tell you he can sell your house and get the most for it. He will tell you he has a waitlist of people waiting for houses in your sought-after area, that he has a list of potential cash and Chinese buyers and that he will take drone shots of your home and have open days to get people through your door. He will tell you his sales fee like you’re getting a fabulous deal (but don’t tell anyone any other vendors you may be having in to value) its 1% by the way and the same as everyone else. He will tell you if you need to take your house off the market it’s not a problem. When we approached Hunters and requested, we take off the market with them because we wanted to use another estate agent due to service, Mark Littlewood then became hostile and threw various threats at us. Think long and hard before using Hunters.

3 years agoAs a landlord, finding new tenants can be a stressful experience. Hunters in Leigh provide an excellent service for a fair price that makes it a stress-free process. Very knowledgeable and pro-active team, I would definitely recommend them.

The staff were so responsive and proactive when dealing with our purchase; they made sure to chase when necessary and I felt relief knowing a problem was in their hands to look into! 3 years agoFor the second time we have bought our house through hunters. Both times the service is excellent. Staff are always available to take your call & answer questions. Our main point of contact was Antonia who is friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Melanie is equally as helpful if Antonia wasn't in the office. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

4 years agoViewed a property with Hunters, communication was very good. On viewing, any questions that i had where answered very well. I was very pleased with everything and as soon as I said that i was interested they dealt with everything. they kept me in touch with where the application was, and gave me a moving in date that was workable for me and my family. Some agents want you in as soon as they can but my circumstances where slighty different, but they worked with me on it. The staff are fantasic and i have no doubt anyone dealing with them will get 100% customer satisfaction. A big thank you goes out to Antonia for her professionalism dealing with everything

From the valuation, initial instruction and the sales progression to completion, Mark, Melanie and Antonia provided a sympathetic but professional approach and service. They completed accompanied viewings and nothing was too much trouble for them all. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

They where very understanding when we moved out and helped us with great recommendations. If I ever come back to the area Hunters will definitely be my first option for buying/renting. 4 years agoHunters Leigh have been fantastic so far, we had our initial buyer pull out but they we're quick to help resolve the issues and calm me down, securing another buyer within a few days. Mark has answered numerous calls from me when I have been having a meltdown (often out of hours) and has been a constant support in the process up to now. I have dealt with many estate agents in the past, and I have not yet come across a branch manager as good as Antonia. She always calls and leaves voicemails to keep me updated, and responds to any emails in record speed. Not the typical estate agent who sits on emails for days on end. Thank you for your help so far!

4 years agoSecured a buyer fairly quickly but that's where the service seems to end. Nice people but I am now totally fed up with the lack of communication and action in chasing completion of a sale that has been going on for 7 months.

5 years agoBooked for a valuation at 1.30, got a call at 11.30 to say they can't make it as short staffed, whilst I understand in this current climate people are short staffed, a call the day before or even in the morning so I didn't waste my time waiting in would of been nice.
