Fish & chips were pretty awful. Fish was undercooked and still very wet and slimey inside due to raw batter. Chips were dry and not edible. Also witnessed the chef just pull some lettuce from the fridge unwashed and just with her hand refill the salad container which is a serious health hazard. Will be reporting to EHO

1 year agoA very good, very local, very affordable and hospitable tea restaurant. The fact that customers have to wait in line is proof that it is worth the money. The food variety is very diverse, the restaurant offers very delicious food with a wide variety to choose from. As for the service attitude of the staff, it is worthy of praise. They are customer-oriented. Customers do not have to wait for a long time, they can see the food they ordered. It is really good. Even better, the food is fresh and hot items are kept very hot for optimal flavor. I forgot to mention the fish and chips, which is highly recommended, full marks. of course, all the rest of food are really, really good.

1 year agoFood was reasonable. Clean but too crowded with tables. The young woman who served us was very pleasant and wanted to please.
Can I suggest owners cater for disabled customers as enthusiastically as for a party of 4 customers.

2 years agoI have been here before and the young girls are always lovely,today however an older lady was so rude and aggressive that we left immediately .I worked in the service industry myself and have never treated anyone poorly .such a shame for the others who work so hard.

2 years agoI have a severe wheat and gluten allergy after asking for my food to be cooked separately it wasn't so I quickly became quite ill. After speaking to the manager her words were, "What do you want me to do ?"

2 years agoFirst time I tried the fish and chips today it was the best fish I've had for a long time the fish was so white and fresh the batter was lovely. Service was great lovely staff. I will be going back. Well done to you all see you soon?

I had cheese on toast, seeded brown, with scrambled egg and beans and a milky coffee. Friendly staff too.

3 years agoWhat a cracking deal ! A jacket potato, a barm with meat (“Steak Canadian” the staff said) plus two drinks cost £11 only. And food quality not bad. I must visit again.

3 years agoOrdered myself a waffle earlier in the week, absolutely amazing ! Customer service was fantastic, girls were very friendly, quick service and couldn't do enough for me. Food was absolutely spot on. Highly recommended !

4 years agoWell I won't go there again £7.55 for 2 eggs about twenty chips and a spoon full of beans cup of tea and 1 slice of bread and butter. Full English breakfast and fish chips and peas are cheaper
Staff were rude as I had to stop eating my food to pay for my bill
