New this shop as a child (and Waterfields) going in, in the 70s and 80s with my Nana and my Mum and Dad and since with my own family.
I'm fifty eight now and it's soo great to see they're still producing quality produce.
Can't get their pork pies any where else (I live in the midlands but return frequently to visit my relatives who stayed put after the pits closed)

I absolutely love Yates Greer products. As a child I’d have sausages when visiting my grandparents. My mum used their sausage meat at Christmas when making sausage rolls- a tradition I’m carrying on. Their pork pies are the best I’ve tasted. Two thumbs up to the sky ????

Sent my hubby for a llb of bacon, a llb of sausage and 4 pork pies for our weekend break. We got to our holiday cottage and we'd been given a llb of bacon, 1/2 lb of sausage and 2 pork pies. Cost £16.14. I'll be calling in when I get home. So annoying when you haven't enough for the weekend and been charged for it.

Only get home to Leigh twice a year. And I always stop at Yates and Greer for a pork pie.

A shop that is embedded in the heart and soul of leigh town centre, been here for as long as I can remember, quality food products, sausage and bacon second to none and they make the best pork pies in the world by far.

Fabulous traditional pork pies, packed with meat, and a nice layer of jelly on the top. Pastry nice and moist, unlike the pre-packed supermarket pies. Also great range of sausages.
