It's changed name ,and must have changed chef ,as mumbai kitchen it was superb ,sorry but just another indian now ,just spent £35 on food ,order missing item ,food nowhere near as good as it used to be ,won't be ordering again ?

2 years agoWhy change the name? Leapards kitchen ?? Weird if so good , 2 bad reviews enuf 4me won't be ordering, very rare a decent, honest, reliable takeaway in Leigh let's be honest?

2 years agoOrdered lamb tikka balti,found it to be very salty and the lamb was quite tough and fatty. Rice was nice garlic & onion. Delivery only 30 mins. The lamb jalfrezi not as tough but still quite salty.

2 years agoThe food was delicious, and I have even ordered from here for my Christmas meal on several occasions. The staff members were very helpful and friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend Mumbai Kitchen for anyone in the Leigh area looking for some delicious Indian food. The combination of tasty food and great service makes this takeaway stand out, and I will definitely be returning in the future.

3 years agoOrdered via their website, which said 2hr delivery. It turned up bang on 2hrs, but unfortunately it wasn’t worth the wait. The mixed starter was dry and the meat rubbery. The lamb biryani was nice, the chicken in the chicken tikka biryani was ok but the chicken was cut so small it blended in with the rice.
Sadly won’t be ordering again

3 years agoUsed them for a few times never had a complaint so ordered for Christmas Day, it was ready for the exact time agreed and no more cost than usual. The food was absolutely beautiful as it always it and the staff are just fantastic. The best Indian in Leigh hands down. Won’t go anywhere else now.

3 years agoKeep away from this place I’ve just got a kebab and chips wow… chips have been re cooked at least 3 times stale dirty hard and black chips the kebab was just laced in tandoori sauce what a waste of £15 ???

4 years agoMainly online and thats the way i usually order. This time i went to the takeaway and asked for a memu. No menu. Its online. After some discussion as to what i like, i ordered a south indian garlic chicken. A good curry with very good consistency. Vegetable rice nicely done. And chips to boot. Good alround meal quickly sorted. Deffo returning. Its a good one.

The curry was really nice / chicken was soft and succulent

4 years agoOnions and peppers not cooked properly pieces of chiken tikka tiny curry sauce looked like baby food not worth the money at all disapointed after reading all the great reviews thought it would be good

4 years agoOrdered a takeaway from Mumbai kitchen. Took 1 1/2 hours to arrive. Onion Bahjis were rock hard and very burnt. Bombay Aloo was just potatoes with hardly any sauce. Did complain and was offered 15% off next order but will not be using this take away again.Very disappointing.

5 years agoOrdered from Mr D. Lamb Korma with Naan arrived without the Naan bread. The korma had 6 of the smallest pieces of lamb in it (lamb for ants?!).
I've been disappointed by them before and thought it might have been a once off.

5 years agoHad Food from here for past 4/5 weeks now cause our favorite Indian was closed, when our favorite opened back up we compared the two and Mumbai comes out tops, great food and prompt delivery recommended ? keep on with the good work guys ?
