This evening I ordered the pizza from the Mr. Eat and then I said put jalapeño mushroom chicken olives, sweetcorn and when I order it to Home and it was just dough and cheese and then a little bit jalapeño mushroom and some sliced chicken

1 year agoAbsolutely disgusting waited over an hour for our food spoke to the manager to get a refund and point blank was so rude and wouldn’t give us a refund the garlic bread was raw chicken was disgusting stay away and do not order from here it’s not like it use to be Mr Eats use to be so good for its food but now

1 year agoThe food from here is so so nice ....however they let themselves down when it comes to fulfilling the proper order. This time they missed the sauce off my kebab. I didn't bother ringing.. I was too hungry so I just put my own on but it wasn't the same. Last time I ordered they forgot the cans and when I rang they said they will just deliver them with my next order when I mention it. I wanted it with that meal really :-(. I will continue ordering in hope that these problems get sorted.

1 year ago2 hours from ordering to delivery of food is unacceptable. Tried to say we ordered 50 minutes after we actually did but everything is now done via the Internet so had proof of the time we ordered. Gave them a try from our usual takeaway but won't order from here again.

2 years agoHad a mixed kebab , it was the best we have had from anywhere for a long time chicken very moist melt in your mouth. Nann bread really lite best ever from anywhere. Fresh salad 10 out of 10.

2 years agoFood is always really good, and normally I have no complaints about anything. However, recently they have got new delivery staff and our food regularly turns up more than half an hour later than it says and stone cold. It sucks, because apart from this it's been amazing food and awesome service

2 years agoGreat food, ordered pizza, burger and a chicken shawarma. - pizzas dripping with cheese. Burger was juicy, thick and meaty. And the full filled fresh made naan bread gushing with chicken and drenched with creamy mayo (just how I like it). I’ll defo be back for more.

2 years agoWe ordered from here for a family party (8 pizzas and 3 kebabs) amazing pizzas and the kebabs was really nice. Super fast delivery.

2 years agoHonestly amazing the boss man gave me a calzone instead of a pizza when i dident have enough and to top it off he gave us a free pizza to share between my mates. Honestly the food was glorious and it fills you up, definitely would recommend.

2 years agoFirst time in leigh myself my son were hungry saw this place in city centre Not a single staff member acknowledged us we were waiting like idiots so we walked out. Service is everything clearly not here.

3 years agoCannot honestly say just how good this takeaway is!! Everytime we order from there the service is absolutely exceptional, extremely polite and courteous. The food arrives on time and is always nicely and freshly cooked. We have used them for years and the standards have never dropped. The go to takeaway for Leigh and the surrounding area. Highly recommend!

3 years agoJust received after two hours the special no 3 meal. Everything was cold and NO rice. Worst meal on take away we have ever received. Appreciate they might have been busy but at least once food is delivered it should be hot. Not happy at all.

3 years agoNow that Mr Eats is back in the ORIGINAL family, it's back to its previous delicious self!!! They even custom made a garlic with cheese calzone - incredible and SO MUCH CHEESE!!! Will be back to being our takeaway of choice ?

3 years agoHi - I just rang to complain about something with a Mr Eats delivery - they were most polite and sent me a second order. I was actually totally wrong and the first one was correct. I rang to apologise and they said no problem. Food is always delicious and now I know the customer service is awesome too.

3 years agoAvoid!!! Beyond disappointed with portion sizes. Contacted because our garlic nann with cheese was less than half the size of the pizza box that it used to sit quite happily in, today it looked sad and lost. Our cold kebabs can no longer be halved and saved as a second meal and apparently 4 pieces of chicken is a portion size. I couldn’t even close the nann on the kebab as the size of the bread is that small and I can see why trays are no longer to distort the perception of its size. I accept that cost cutting measures are being introduced in most businesses but these should not impact the customer. I phoned to complain and the customer service was non existent and was constantly met with objections. Chicken portions were changed when they went from breast to thigh because it’s less dry. I’ve got news for you, it was infact dry. 90 minutes after complaining the promise of a replacement garlic nann and cheese and a tray of donor still hasn’t arrived and I can only assume never will, I have just phoned back to find out the delay and they are waiting to send it out with orders our way, great to resolve a complaint by waiting long enough for us to complain again. ? Update awaits. I’ll be honest I’ve noticed reducing portion sizes but tonight I too one look and wondered where 50% of my meal had gone. I used this establishment for over 20 years and it’s no longer worth the money. Avoid!!!

3 years agoI don’t know what’s happened? The food is absolutely disgusting ? the chicken kebab used to be the best, it’s now sent full of grease, cheap chicken, soggy salad and pita with a slug trail of cheese. Garlic bread is anaemic again covered in thick cheese! Absolutely shocking for the prices you pay! Avoid if you want nice tasty food because this will not provide what you’re looking for!

4 years agoVery unamusing pizza takeaway place. Stumbled across it by pure coincidence. I have no idea how I even ended up here. Surrounded by pubs and bars, and other takeaway pizza places... Interesting location. However I watched a gentleman prepare the pizza with great care and attention. This is how you make a pizza. Just watching this guy prepare the pizza I knew it would be good. Absolutely beautiful pizza, with a genuine authentic taste, with proper fresh toppings. Was a very good taste, could not fault the pizza. Recommend the pizza for sure, had the Veg hot one, loved the spice level of the green chillies, not for those that don't like it hot.

4 years agoOver the last two orders food came 15mins late and burned pizza.and our order tonight not completed full order and paid 14pound for our order came bk said we only paid 13.taking picture s of money I pay them from now on.

4 years agoBeen ordering from here for years and tonight's was beyond disgusting,very dry and dark brown cold Donner meat, sauce was virtually none existant and on the whole a really bad meal ,having to order from another place. I have posted photos of how bad it was. No way of sending them to Mr eats and not using more of My time and money taking it back , very disappointed

4 years agoI've been going to Mr Eats for almost 20 years, starting back in high school, Friday's on the way home from school with my mates for a kebab. The food is as good now as it was back then, great prices and friendly staff. It is one of the few places my wife likes donner kebabs from, the lil girl loves the burgers and my lil man always enjoys their pizza.

5 years agoSome of the nicest take out iv had, and I'm quite picky not bad value for money also, always polite and friendly , I would definitely recommend to any one who likes a good pizza or kebabs.

5 years agoWish I could rate 0 star, stood at counter for 5 mins not one member of staff asked me if I was okay or took my order, only one other person in shop and three behind counter. Needless to say I won’t ever use them again

6 years agoI eat in this nice place a lot! This is the best place to pass a nice evening. I visit this place regularly. The food is very good, the workers are helpful and the charge is decent. I like being in this spot to have a rich supper.

6 years ago"Mr Eats was awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 1 (Major Improvement Necessary) by Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council on 26th March 2019. Information last updated 7th February 2020." Used to be the best, standards seem to be slipping. A large kebab used to be BIG, paying for a large one now just means a nan instead of a pita. Salad is sparingly applied.
