Very very average chippy.
Saussage have not much meat (cheap saussage).
Chips after delivery very dry without salt at all.
The gravy is pure instant stuff.

1 year agoI've only ordered from just eat from here never been inside. The food always arrives hot and never had to wait more than 45mins. Proper chippy chips and very good burgers and fish. Ok it's not cheap but very few chippys are nowadays. It's definitely the best of a whole lot we have tried on Just Eat locally.

1 year agoFairly decent chippy. Not the best I have ever had but also not the worst chippy I have ever had. It’s pretty much the middle ground of fish and chip shops. But overall it was not bad.

2 years agoFor a £50 order and for the waiting time of 45-60 mins would have expected freshly cooked food. Chips were stale not crispy and tasted like they had been standing there since yesterday. Fish peas etc were ok but not great. Not impressed for the price

2 years agoIt's the only real chippy that seems to be open on a Sunday close to me so it's our go to on Sundays. Decent chips and portions and all reasonably priced.

3 years agoI've ordered from here many times and always my go-to chippy but tonight for what I paid to what I got...I paid over £14 for a sausage meal, which comes with peas and gravy but all I got was sausage and chips, the scallops at 90p each, well...that's what I got covered in fat...disappointed..

3 years agoChip quality was not as I expected, partly cooked then warmed/re fried which lead to hard flavourless chips. Sausage where like leather.

3 years agoFood arrived stone cold only the mushy peas where warm until they deliver themselves and not use just eat then sorry you have lost our custom,as delivery was 20mins late and food was not kept in a thermal bag or anything was just wrapped in paper.very poor.

4 years agoBest place in Leigh. I saw a review about the chiken kebab being precooked ( total nonsense ) ,I am buying chicken kebab from here almost every week and it is cooked in front of me. Totally recommend. People should give honest reviews.

4 years agoPlease note, I dont live in the area just work and most of the time live out of a hotels.
Lesson learnt, never order twice from one place, the first time i ordered it was average but good enough to order again. Ordered food today, wish I hadn't, chips were dark as if they were fried in old oil, fish was very very greasy as well as the battered burger, sausage was ok the only thing that I enjoyed, chicken kebab, was it pre-cooked and then heated up? was very hot, maybe chef Mike had some involvement don't know, you can see why I order so much for one person as most or in some cases it all gets thrown away, what a waste. Made my mind up.
Hope the owner reads this and understands what a person goes through when staying away, its really depressing when you haven't eaten much and have to go out and buy a sandwich, enough said, off to morrinsons.

4 years agoAbsolutley vile. Chips were definetley not fresh, were rubbery and hard. Scallops were dry, hard and chewy. Curry sauce was tasteless. It ended up in the bin. Avoid at all costs
