2 years agoI love going here for dinner, Gaz & Sam cannot do enough for you, from helping with dietary tips to making up meals. Always friendly & helpful & the food well…. All I can say is you have to try it, absolutely amazing! Thanks guys for all your help x

2 years agoGaz and sam are great! Top couple. Food alway’s 5*****. Clean and tidy as always. PS Luke beckett i was in the cafe when you was and if anyone was rude it was you. Asking for sauce they said 60p nothing free mate! Your reply just leave it!! Stormed out after demolishing your plate(clearly wasnt rubbish) and no thank you and leave your plate on table. Horrible human

2 years agoWhen ordering, staff told me they may forget to make my coffee so I may have to remind them. Staff were rude when I asked for sauces for my chips after not seeing that I had to pay 60p for dips. The food isn't that great, and has left me feeling tired and ill all day. My burrito was burnt, chips bland, no sauce to dip them in, and just a general bad experience with the staff. If you want some home cooked healthy food, make it yourself for half the price and much better taste.

3 years agoVisited today with my mum, toddler and baby whilst shopping in Leigh. Food was great and lots to choose from, will definitely be back. Great if you’re trying to make better choices with food but don’t want to just eat boring salads ??

3 years agoBought a pork tenderloin with basmati rice, peppercorn marinade and salad cream sauce and it was absolutely delicious would definitely go again and highly recommend. The staff were friendly too

3 years agoIf you want freshly cooked nutrious tasty food, the Health Shack is the place to go. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I ordered one of the build-your-own boxes to eat in. Make sure you are hungry as I was completely stuffed after it.
This will now be my go-to place when I fancy a good lunch out.
They have many other options as well as build- your-own boxes.

My Mum has been telling me to visit for ages, and today I was able to!
I ordered one of the boxes, intending to skip lunch and have it for dinner! It barely got past the front door of my home before I started to demolish it!!
The value for money is fabulous, but the taste is insane!!
If you haven't tried The Health Shack yet, I cannot recommend it highly enough!

6 years agoNot that great a selection of healthy options. The build-your-own Protein Box is a bit badly described on the board, and not all of the options they list are always available.
I've been in several times and had similar experiences each time, but last week I visited and the service was awful - our orders were taken incorrectly, the card machine was out of service, mistakes were made taking our cash, there were no forks...
You could forgive the staff if there was great food, but the food's just 'alright'

8 years agoLove this place. Great food and very friendly staff. A bit pricey but well worth the cost. Visit when I fail 2 prep my food. Which ends up a regular occurrence.
