never write reviews, but my god .£3.85 for a butty with 1 slice of cheap ,meat and stale salad, i though nevermind the pasty will do, that was burnt underneath what a load of crap

1 year agoI got a ham salad sandwich, missing onion and the ham is cheap formed crap.
I went in today and the staff were in the back what felt like 10 minutes as the customers were queuing up. Then she was very short and snappy, not helpful at all and quite rude.
It's just an overpriced, poor quality bakery that I won't be going back to, even Pound Bakery is better than here.

2 years agoI've been going here for years. Their pasties are absolutely delicious. Called in for four and bought the barm cakes not theirs by the way, but are the best, I usually buy the same barms from Crown Barbecue in Atherton. Traditional bakery which is nice in this day and age.

3 years agoThis bakery is famous in our family for its fantastic range of pies pasties and cakes. We always order bulk pasties for any family get together we have as they are the talk of the buffet that is put on. Value for money fresh quality food is hard to come by these days but Claphams Bakery delivers on all three counts. Well done Claphams Bakery and thank you.

4 years agoWas Great pies but the shop is still living in 1970s as in cash only no cards Apple Pay etc really !!! 2022 and I hear they was taken over a couple of years ago new owners too

4 years agoVery slow service, always have to wait for like 10 mins to get one sandwich you can make it faster at home. Old vegetable and low quality ham and meat. Zero stars. Why is it bakery if only stuff they have baked is staff.

5 years agoClaphams bakery is fantastic, always an excellent selection of pies, pasties, sandwiches and cakes. The staff are always friendly and service comes with a smile. The meat and potato pastie for £1 is a favourite for me my wife and kids.

6 years agoGood decent bakery. My partner went in and ordered 150 pasties for her 30 birthday party and she was happy with how friendly the staff was with her. And for the amount we ordered I'd say excellent value for money, every one loved the pasties and they where just as pleased as me. Overall spot on and I would recommend to any one. I even sampled a steak pie and they was delicious too
