Visited for the first time today. Purchased aquarium and stand. Will definitely be purchasing my fish from here in a few days time. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly.

1 year agoGood selection of tropical and cold water fish, including pond fish, pond plants and aquarium plants. They also do a great selection of natural dog treats and raw food. The staff are always super friendly and helpful.

1 year agoI was amazed at the variety and quality of fish available and as Chairman of the Preston & District Aquarist Society I went along unannounced to review the shop and was very impressed, it's well worth a visit. I know I will be back, a great place that allows well behaved dogs and children as well ad easy off road parking

1 year agoOne of the best Aquatic Stores around! Super Friendly & Knowledgeable Owners, Excellent Prices & Huge Selection Visited Amazon Aquatics on Saturday & Again Sunday with the family. The Gentleman & Lady who run the store are some of the friendliest people i have ever met. They provided extremely knowledgeable information which helped not only with our decision making but future plans. Amazing Business, Amazing People! Thank you!

1 year agoAmazing shop for all your aquatic needs. There is a very very large variety of fish for all tank types along with plants. The members of staff there are very friendly and super knowledgeable. I bought some cherry shrimp and they helped advise me on which of my fish could potentially have scampi for tea. Thanks to the kind ladies knowledge my shrimp are nice and safe and ready to get their clean on. This will now be our new supplier for our aquascaping hobby !!!

1 year agoOne of THE best fish specialist’s I’ve ever been to; the staff are absolutely amazing every one of them. ESPECIALLY Laura; her knowledge is amazing and the time she takes to speak to my little one makes such a difference (even though he can be a little crank) the place has really good stock; reasonable prices and their knowledge is just incredible. I’ve been going to them now for the best part of 18 months and I learn something new every single time. I was recommended this place by a friend of mine and I am so so glad that he did; because they really are brilliant. Anytime I have an issue with the fish; the water or anything else the staff are on hand to help. Mark (the owner) is an absolute gem as well; always makes sure that my tank is 100% can’t thank you all enough

2 years agoA great find right on our doorstep. Very clean shop. Very clean tanks and a wonderful variety of tropical and cold water fish. Also a koi pond fish selection at the back of the store. All very clean. We are planning our first tank and fish and the advice we received was excellent. We left with a knowledge of water , live plants and fish for first timers like me. I shall be purchasing my fish from here when my tank is ready. 5stars from me !

2 years agoCaring and dedicated shop... great staff and variety of items ideal to start and maintain an aquarium. A variety of fish The reason for the 4 star is the price of the fish... quite expensive but you get quality for the money..

2 years agoPopped in to have a look at as have switched from Marine to Tropical and enjoyed my visit. Left with some fish and plants and enjoyed chatting with Mark about the hobby. Great friendly advice and competitive prices. I look forward to returning!

2 years agoI have to start by saying this has been my go to shop over the last 7 years as it’s local and I’m lucky to be so close as this is an exceptional store, from expert, friendly advice, a great range of stock from tanks, plants a plenty and great quality frozen and dry foods, lots of various rocks, bog woods etc for your aquascape, and they now sell all natural dog treats and snacks for your furry friends. In all my years I have never purchased and lost any fish from this store and I have bought lots and all are really healthy fish. One of my favourite purchases from here was a clown loach (Martha) must be around 6 years old now. Thanks from me and Martha to all staff past and present for all your hard work advice and service with a smile, it really makes a difference to your experience also not forgetting a nice show tank out the back, well worth a visit if you love your fish.

3 years agoCan say i enjoy poping in, helpfull staff too. Cover a good variety of tropical fish with addition of pond section in the back room. Worth a pop in. Key point ide like to make out is I dont have to look at sick and suffering fish when I pop into amazon aquatics. Unlike yesterday at daves aquarium (poor koi). I won't be going back daves again for that reason. A statement in its self when I go and visit another towns aquatics store and find my self impelled to leave a review for amazon aquatics instead for setting a example on quality of care.

3 years agoBought £45 worth of fish and they didn’t survive 2 days. Last time they blamed my water in an established tank. Not bothering with them again. My tank and water are fine as my other fish seem to be ok. They are selling poor fish and blaming your water. Stay well clear.

3 years agoGreat tropical fish shop. Store and tanks are really clean and fish all look healthy and great quality. Really good advice given and came away with some dwarf chain loaches and a siamese fighter fish, all of which have happily settled into my community tank.

4 years agoHad a problem with my tank as it was constantly green and hazy. I'd tried numerous solutions but they recommended an updated filter and uv filter. Its now great. Not only good prices but excellent customer service

4 years agoBeen a customer for years, staff excellent with their knowledge. Wide variety of fish species, as well as snails, and shrimp. Cold water, pond fish aswell as a good stock of tropical fish. Just topped up some fish today and me and daughter sat in front of now for hours x

4 years agoOne of the best Aquatic suppliers of anything aquatic. Friendly, very knowledgeable and so helpful. They stock everything you can think of to do with Aquariums. They have a large variety of live stock, great plant selection real or plastic, spare parts or replacements and full aquarium start ups tanks filter's lights the lot basically you name it they will probably have it. I couldn't recommend them enough.

5 years agoI would highly recommend amazon aquatics, I started using these from day 1 of owning a tropical tank, they helped me with every single little thing as I did not have any clue how to run a tropical tank nor care for the fish. Fast forward 2 years and I've bought a larger tank from them, lots of fish, accessories and little tanks. This place goes above and beyond for their customers unlike some local fish shops!! The manager and the team are always happy to help with any enquiries and reassure you if your a panicer like myself. They have a great selection of fish and accessories, the tank set ups are lovely and well maintained. I always feel confident when making purchases from here. Look no other place for your aquatic needs other than amazon aquatics 5*

5 years agoAmazing customer service, very knowledgeable staff. I have used many other aquatic shops in the area and this is definitely the best. They give real advice not just try to sell you fish. All covid regulations followed. The only aquatic shop to go to in the North West.

5 years agoWhat a absolutely wonderful hidden gem! I would like to say a massive thank you. Too the very helpful young lad that works here! Absolutely, outstanding customer service! Definitely be going back again. Always went to Wigan for my fish due to not knowing about this place but no more trips to Wigan for me and my husband! Brilliant fish, dry goods, customer service and nice size car park in front off the shop!
