1 year agoI am just about to complete my training with 3D 360 in Leigh.
All the training has been excellent, relaxed, and the team is obviously very knowledgeable. I particularly enjoyed the on-site training at their office in Leigh (building a 3D printer) plus the CAD (Fusion 360) training.
The offices are perfect for training, great facilities and they have offered their support and advice over the coming months. If you have a problem just one phone call (or visit) should sort you out.
Virtual training is done via Microsoft Teams and is always friendly and relaxed.
Big thanks to Dave (virtual trainer), Craig and the two Mathews for their in-person training. I hope I didn't ask too many questions on the CAD course ;-)

1 year agoThe course was excellent, and enjoyable. The concept seems “too good to be true”, but it is exactly as described. The staff are all very knowledgeable, having practical real world experience, and extremely helpful and personable. I’m struggling to find anything negative to say. I’m a total beginner when it comes to 3D printing and CAD, but I’m now up and running and designing and printing useful stuff. Highly recommended!

1 year agoI completed my training course yesterday, and what perhaps sounded to good to be true was even better than it sounded.
Yes it was a free training course
Yes you do get a 3D Printer to keep (an Ender3 v2)
Yes you do build it yourself - but with expert guidance, and excellent hints and tips on how to set it up to get the best from it.
The trainers (Mike doing the Teams-based courses, and the two Matt's doing the face to face parts of the course) are all very knowledgeable and patient.
They even offer extra workshops and clinics to troubleshoot problems and to further improve your knowledge.
Every member of staff I encountered was cheerful and helpful.
5 stars isn't enough - I can HIGHLY recommend them

"I had the most incredible experience with the 3D printing training course offered by 3D360. The course content was comprehensive, engaging, and easy to follow. The instructors ( Mike, Mathew & Mathew, Alan, were extremely knowledgeable and patient, guiding me through every step of the way. Poor Mike had to wait for me to return as I had to do a school run! Also Matthew & Matthew had to look for another power supply for me after I screwed too deep in it. I have learned so much and feel much more confident in the whole new digital technology industrial 4.0 and my 3D printing skills now.
I highly recommend 3D360 to anyone looking to enhance their 3D skills or explore a new creative avenue.
If you are new to this like me, I recommend starting with the industry 4.0 to understand the whole concept first and then any other lessons. I even understand the electric car now as well after the online course! You definitely need the 3 days- face to face training. You can't learn any tips and tricks by watching the video's guidance when buying the product online. You definitely need the expert team at 3d 360 to show you.

1 year agoI completed this course 3 months ago, and it was absolutely fantastic. The trainers, especially Matt and Little Matt, were incredible. When my printer malfunctioned, Matt even lent me a printer while he fixed mine. The face-to-face learning was excellent, and I even returned for CAD design training. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend taking this course. It's truly worth it!

1 year agoReally enjoyed the whole experience... Learnt a heck of a lot and regained confidence in my abilities to design and create.
Very visual learning which was helpful for me. Good communication and trainers are highly competent in their field.
I can't recommend this enough for anyone wanting to upskill on new technology.

1 year agoI have just done my second day on the course and I have to say I am enjoying it. Matthew and Mike have been amazing, they are both patient and helpful (poor Mike had to wait for me to finish the quiz tonight I was the last one :) )
I am looking forward to the rest of the course now as I was very apprehensive before I started it.

2 years agoGreat course definitely built on my previous experience with 3D printing and now I can safely say I can upgrade, indetify problems, troubleshoot, level machines with a lot more ease with the training I had received

2 years agoExcellent course which has helped me to understand 3D printing and how to use my new and FREE printer.
5 days online training and then 3 days in person building your printer and then learning how to use it.
Easy parking at Leigh Spinners Mill and access via a lift as I am in a wheelchair.
Dean is extremely knowledgeable and helped answer so many questions I had. He and Matt were happy to help and go over and above to get us up and running on our new printers.

2 years agoI finished my course today and just WOW! There’s not enough words to express my gratitude. The team went above and beyond to make sure no one was left behind and was happy with everything!
When I first signed up, I was a bit scared cause it is nothing I’ve ever done before so I knew it will take twice the effort to learn but I’m so glad I took the leap cause I feel so much smarter now (lol). All jokes aside, the online courses were really interesting and the instructors were brilliant! The face to face was even more challenging as you get to build your own printer and you learn how to use the software but the instructors were so helpful it felt amazing to be there learning. I wish my uni professors were as nice and patient! If I didn’t have to drive all the way from Chester I’d be doing everything they offer (lol) because they’re simply experts in what they do and teach you as much as they can so you’re on the same speed as everyone else.
If you’re hesitant cause you think it’s too good to be true, don’t be! This course was one of the best things I’ve done for myself. The other people learning were really nice too and always happy to help.

2 years agoI attended the workshop between the 12th and 14th February, and could not be happier. 3D 360 provided such a great introduction into 3d printing and CAD design, The course is well presented and the staff have a wealth of experience, everyone was so happy and eager to help. I'm so glad I applied for the course when I did, I just wish I did it sooner.

2 years agoI've recently completed the three-day 3D printer course.
From unboxing, throughout the build, and how to use, the staff are brilliant (and extremely patient) at explaining every step.
I had absolutely no experience with 3D printing, but now have my own machine, and the knowledge to start creating my own models, tools and anything else my kids mither me for.
Highly recommended for anybody interested in 3D printing. The people in the course were highly diverse: young and old, experienced and complete novices, so don't let age or current skill level put you off.

I'd recommend the course to anyone who is interested in learning more about 3d Printers and CAD software.

3 years agoA great place ! I had some experience in 3d printing but wanted to expand my knowledge. The lads there really no there stuff and after this course I was able to confidently adjust my other printer at home that I was having problems with.
All in all it was a great 3 days and would highly recomend it. But be aware once you start printing you can't stop and before you no it you have 3 at home and another 2 in your basket ?

3 years agoExcellent training provided. Dean and Adam were very knowledgable and made learning interesting and fun.
We spent the first day of training assembling the parts of the 3D printer that was included in the course. Second day was used to learn and practice 3D printing which was invaluable practice. Me and my colleague learnt loads of useful information which will help us deliver 3D printing to our engineering students at KS4.

3 years agoI took part in the 3 day fully funded course and enjoyed it very much. I learnt how to build and use a 3D printer, thanks to the helpful (and very patient! ) teachers/technicians . I can’t wait to play with my new printer and figure out ways I can incorporate it into my textile practice! Thank you 3D360!

3 years agoI can honestly say this place is brilliant and so are the staff.
I started by going in one day and simply enquiring about what to buy and the next day I had applied for their 3-day fully-funded training course.
Today I finished the course and without a doubt it's one of the best training courses I've done. Daryll was a top-star tutor and teacher. Fully hands on with how to build the printer, print models and also troubleshoot anything that breaks - even better he's been doing it for a while so you can tell he has a REAL passion for 3D printing and you see this in the way he teaches.
It's ultimately refreshing to see a tutor who's passionate about the subject and not just reading from a powerpoint without having a clue.
Having dinner included is just the added benefit along with given free-reign on what you'd like to print to practise slicing and getting used to your printer with no limit to fillament used.
Many people go out and buy a printer but will fail and sell the next day - here they assist you getting over that fear and I highly reccomend doing the training, coming from someone who'd consider themselves as technically advanced.
And yes, it's 100% real! You get a FREE Ender 3 printer to take home, brand-new from the box - it's wicked!

3 years agoRecently attended a course here on 3D Printer maintenance, use and CAD design. I had minimal knowledge of CAD, and almost no experience of using 3D printers but I came away from the course with total confidence in being able to implementing the things I had learned into my job.
The staff were brilliant, so knowledgeable and completely put me at ease with being a novice in 3D. They were more than happy to help with my (many) questions, and genuinely wanted to help everyone learn the skills. A big thanks to Lewis and Rebecca, and the other guys from the first part of the course (sorry can't remember their names).
Also came away with a 3D printer which I can't wait to start using.
Would 100% recommend this course and this company to anyone!

3 years agoSuch a fantastic opportunity to build a printer and learn about 3D printing, really patient and friendly trainers who made this learning curve fun! No questions were deemed too silly to ask, approachable staff on hand throughout. The 3-day course is a fab intro to 3D printing, didn’t want it to end - but luckily the free printer you get to take away, means I can continue this journey and see how we can utilise this tech at work! Would recommend anyone signing up for this course if you’re able to go (access info - the training room is up 2 flights of stairs).

3 years agoThey offer a brilliant and informative course, helped me to go from a complete beginner to understanding a lot more about 3D printers and how to use them. A really good free course to add to your CV and gain not many people have. Really friendly staff, with a lot of expertise in their field, so any questions I had we answered really well. Would definitely recommend these guys!!

3 years agoTook part in the 5 day 3D printer and CAD course, would highly recommend!! The course leaders are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, it made me excited to come in and learn every day. And you get a free printer and other useful tools, sounds unbelievable but it was easy :)

3 years agoWhen I signed up to do this course I had no idea how many ways I would be able to use 3D printing in my work, I basically thought 'Free course, free printer, what's the harm?'
Well, the free aspect has by no means been the best part of doing this course. Immediately after finishing I was able to put into practice so much that has been beneficial to me in my workshop - I am a woodworker by trade. Workshop jigs, custom handles, measuring devices - the opportunities at this point seem limitless.
3D360 run an extremely good course. Their teaching style is relaxed yet thorough, they take time with you if you need and are extremely encouraging. I cannot recommend this course too highly.

3 years agoI attended a free and completely funded 3D printer & CAD course at 3D360 were i learnt how to build my own 3D Printer from scratch, how to operate and how to print correctly. At the end of the course i got to keep the printer i built, with no charge. I also learnt the basics of how to operate CAD which has led me to print my own designs and even download cool designs made by more skilled CAD users. The staff are very friendly and helpful and i would recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in 3D printing and computer design.

3 years agoI sourced this course for others within a school setting in mind. I personally attended for my own personal experience and was delighted with the quality of the course. I was more than well catered for as an absolute novice and as advertised I upskilled my understanding of 3D Printing ( I had absolutely none prior) and received a free printer which I have have set up and am more than capable of using. This was the same for the CAD training in which I gained valuable understanding without any prior knowledge. Those with more experience within this field were not held back by those of us without and all was delivered in a warm and welcoming environment. I would strongly recommend this course if you are wanting to upscale your creative skills or expand your 3d Printing capabilities.

3 years agoAt first I thought this offer was too good to be true! But it's not! I attended the two day course where I learned to build a 3D printer on the first day and then, on the second day, I learned how to operate it. Then, as if that wasn't good enough, I got to take my printer home and keep it forever!!!! I really wasn't expecting to enjoy the experience as much as I did, having never done anything like this before. But, the whole experience was fantastic and I am now loving having this extra string to my creative bow in my role as a freelance artist and art teacher. I highly recommend 3D 360. Not only are their courses amazing, they are also lovely people who can't do enough to help, pre and post course. Get yourself signed up! You won't regret it!

3 years agoWhat a great set up this is. Really clued up staff, with enthusiasm that deserves commendation. Don't be worried about asking for help as they will gladly do what they can to get you up and running. I found it hard to believe the fully funded 3D print course was free to me, but hey presto there is now a self built 3D printer in my home that I know how to use.......and it cost me nothing other than my time. Get on it!
