1 year agoLove this place, friendly staff and quality products. Bring your own containers if you can, or they sometimes have some there you can purloin.

1 year agoThis a is a great shop. And such an asset to the town. For such a small shop there is so much choice, and when it comes to Christmas Cake time; it’s the best place to get ingredients which they’ll handily weigh out for you. The staff are the best!

2 years agoImagine Aladins cave is full of cupboard things. Herbs, spices, tea, cereal, toiletries, cleaning supplies and everything in between. All reasonably priced too, take your empty spice jars here and realise just how much you're being overcharged at the supermarket. Olly and Ian are such lovely people, always happy to help. Shopping here is like visiting friends, you'll come home replenished, with no plastic in sight of course.

2 years agoVery friendly owners, and a huge selection of items to get refilled, including flour, sugar, pasta, loads of dried fruit and mini eggs all year round. At Christmas they do a christmas cake pack that made an amazing cake.

3 years agoOli and Ian have created this fantastic shop for zero plastic waste. They're always welcoming and have a fantastic range. New items include crisps (put in a bag, add your choice of flavour, and give a good shape!) and bakery items on a Friday and Saturday (bread, cinnamon rolls and chocolate knots: pre-ordering is a good idea since they didn't have any when I got there this morning!)

4 years agoThis is a brilliant shop devoted to all things eco friendly. You can take your empty containers and bottles to fill up with all sorts of everyday essentials from teas and herbs to toilet cleaner, buy non-planet-damaging alternatives and reduce plastic waste by tonnes. I shall be buying as much from there as possible, rather than the supermarket. I urge everyone who cares about our planet to visit and try it. The owners are so helpful and happy to show you round and explain how it works. I'd give them ten stars if I xould!

5 years agoNice little place. You can find lots of good stuff there. The shop owner is very welcoming and helpful lady. Don't forget to bring your own boxes, bottles to fill up as this place is all about that. Here you can enjoy being responsible for the environment and reduce your own carbon footprint.

5 years agoA fantastic and friendly local business with strong environmental ethics. The quality and range of the products is always excellent. Bring your own containers, which are then weighed, fill up with the quantity of product you want and then pay. The cleaning liquids are very good - no nasty chemicals or animal products. They also stock products from other small businesses - candles, soaps etc. Some great vegan options with the food including TVP, sweets and chocolate :)

6 years agoBrilliant shop, excellent choice of spices. I found a good mixed range. Bought some of the salted caramel fudge today and just WOW highly recommend! Fab idea and will be using more when I start to run low on my supplies. Definitely worth a visit and very reasonably priced! Also the owner is so helpful and friendly:)

6 years agoExcellent little shop for getting environmentally friendly products. You can take your own bottles to refill the likes of washing up liquid, shampoo and household cleaners etc plus take your own jars or use their paper bags for dry good stuffs such as rice, pasta , cereals etc. They also sell loose Belgium chocolate buttons which are delicious plus a vegan version. Some things do work out a bit more expensive than usual shops , some are cheaper so if you can afford to do a bit for the environment do give this place a try please and support local business rather than big corporate chain shops. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.
