I haven’t been to Shirley in years as I moved house but I always remember when another hairdresser absolutely wrecked my hair when I was about 18 and I found Shirley’s salon out of pure distress. She got my hair back healthy again and I stuck with her for at least 8 years until I moved areas. I’m thinking of revisiting again to have a chat and a nice cut again :) thanks Shirley

Went in there and heard one of people who works there talking about a customer is a very rude manner to the woman she was doing her hair with and saying “all people do is blah blah talk” and mimicked this customer! And they both laughed … The person wasn’t talking lots and even she is was …. That’s part of your job and should be in your skill set…..How embarrassing is it that one of your workers are speaking about someone who is right in the same room as them in that degrading manner, maybe they need to brush up on their customer service skills and kindness…. I would be embarrassed if one of my staff members did this ….and you’re lucky they didn’t say anything … to her … and I heard that she had been in hospital or something….. They just left and I felt really bad for them… it’s not nice at all and charging £10 for a hair wash when they brought their own things ! Just used water and the ladies time to what I heard was free when they called and they brought money out of a thank you .. let’s just hope they don’t need help one day and get treated like that …. There’s a time and place … even if do say things …. But please get the worker to brush up on her skill set a little more .. as like I said it’s embarrassing… just wish I’d said something to her now ….

Sandra did my weave/extensions, I was made to feel comfortable, flowing conversation, asked if I needed a break. The end result was excellent! I was so pleased with my hair, worth every penny. What can I say but THANK YOU Sandra ?
