We had a wake here for 45 people. I must thank the staff for the fantastic food they made for everyone, it was perfect. Very friendly staff everywhere. I can't praise them enough for helping us make the day a special send off for our dad. Best Regards from Linda & Carol.

1 year agoAs a DJ I have attended a number of events at Leigh miners club and its a lovely venue with superb staff who look after you very well. They have 2 lovely rooms , one down stairs to cater for smaller parties and the larger room upstairs for up to 200 people... both rooms well presented with excellent bar and dance floor areas . This is an ideal venue for weddings , christenings etc and I highly recommend it . DJ Trevor Stevens Pulse Entertainments Wigan .

1 year agoOur U3A Singing for Fun group have just moved venues to Leigh Miners and we have certainly made the right decision, Katie and Jackie were so friendly, helpful and welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us settle in.

1 year agoGreat night for a friend's 60th. Lovely room upstairs and very reasonably priced beers and drinks. Would definitely recommend if your considering a celebration.

2 years agoHad my wedding here 20 July 2024 the venue couldn’t do enough for me and was organised and very helpful if I need to have any parties in the future will definitely be using them

2 years agoAttending a 6 week NHS course during the day. The Leigh Miners staff have interrupted each week, walking through with boxes, stocking the bar. This is very disruptive and rude. Would not recommend for business use.

2 years agoJust watched Not Too Tame's immersive production of 'The Social'. Was absolutely fantastic. Great space for it and a must see. Great to see another production by these guys after seeing the AMAZING 'Midsummer Night's Dream' in Prescot last year! Keep it up guys. Will be sure to make the next production!

2 years agoWe attended a Christening here recently great venue.we danced here weekly a few years ago had a lovely dance floor saddened to see how the floor has been allowed to deteriorate great pity

2 years agoWe held our wedding reception here on Saturday in the downstairs lounge, we had the best day, we dressed the venue ourselves and it looked lovey, it was plenty big enough. The bar staff and manager were very friendly, leigh miners catered our buffet and our guest said it was the best buffet they had ever eaten. Thank you for making our day so special Many thanks Martin and Michelle

3 years agoWent for a joint 18th birthday party. Room was pretty big but cold when we first got there. Drinks wernt all that expensive and then accept card or cash.

3 years agoSad occasion as it was my husbands funeral but glad I chose the right venue, staff were brilliant and very accommodating, good location and lots of parking. Thanks to Mark and the team .

3 years agoWe've booked a room hire for a wedding and due to our friend's Diane and Tresra letting us down we are unable to have the wedding we phoned up 3 5 times not giving us refund

4 years agoGood ale, very good prices. Staff are excellent and has a lift for disability patrons. Would have 5 stars but the decor is a little tired in places, but doesn't detract from the ambience at all.

4 years agoWent for a 95th birthday party beer was good dj was fab, just needed aircon got very warm when busy but they opened the outdoor seating area

4 years agoGreat place. Excellent access for the disabled and great facilities too. Friendly staff. Parking at the rear, but does get full quickly when functions are on. Otherwise a great place.
