If it’s okay to have a price rise in the mid way of the hair cuts. And in one visit, we were requested twice to have a price rise.
1) senior Tuesday -£12
After a 1 cm cut…. We were asked to pay £20 as we “requested” to have further hair cut… which the first question asked at the reception / counter is how long if you want the hair to be cut… and we were not told it should be £20 instead of £12.
2) after two minutes, the hairdresser further asked for if we want that to be cut in that short as it could be awkward…. And she said it would be £35 if we want another style. We have to confirm again that it isn’t style / length matters.
It’s like in the mid way of the hair cuts, we have been asked to have a price rise for twice when the hair cut has already started. We did NOT request for any changes in the midway. The initial request was to look less messy (from the hair style ) ie trim for 1 inch to look tidy.
However, the hairdresser found different excuses to have price rise which is not following the price list. The excuses are (A) “ too long for dry cut- while she has just cut one cm. And she said we “asked” for cutting one inch. So, we have to pay extra £8 for that two cm more. *interesting that dry cut means cutting one cm* (B) we have too much hair - which changing hair style would need further £15 on top of the previous requested for £8 rise. We didn’t request to change any style. Hairdresser said she could not fulfil the length (two more cm cut) and she asked if we really want to have that cut.
We have to reinstated that we don’t want any change in front of the boss.
And the boss has told the hairdresser how to work the hair style out.
The hairdresser has only trim the right side a bit and didn’t trim any on the left. It’s imbalance.
Quite interesting that she can ask for £20.
This is an awful experience after the last visit which Emma has got it done nicely and we were happy to tip a bit too.
However, could give a try if anyone don’t mind having the price rise in the mid way of your hair cut …
The way to handle the business is awful.
Not to mention the new hair “style” don’t look like it has done anything from hairdresser. 💇♀️

1 year agoI love this salon. Staff very friendly, I am always offered a coffee, either waiting, during or after my appointment. Prices are reasonable, salon is very clean. Ranil does my hair most times and is brill so is Emma. I am always happy and feel wonderful when I leave the salon. I would highly recommend this salon to friends and family (and I have). Thank you

1 year agoBooked appointment for 2.30pm for my daughter a quick simple dry cut. 1 hour later she finally sat in the chair after the lady kept saying 10mins 20 mins i will be ready it was 1 hour later! I had to arrange for my other daughter to be picked up from school. My daughter was literally in the chair 10 mins and was charged £20 for a simple dry cut!

1 year agoI live in Newton Le Willows and pass dozens of hairdressers on my way to Leigh but it is always worth it. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent cut every time. Prices are very reasonable too.

1 year agoUnsure about the rest of the rest of the staff but the older male member of staff doesn’t know the meaning of trim as he cut far too much off the top and didn’t give me the choice roughly how much off initially like most barbers do.

1 year agoAfter taking my grandaughters here on Saturday for a dry cut I was disgusted when I was charged 54.00 for the 3. When I questioned it I was told one was a restyle and cost 24.00 needless to say we won't be going back again and will not recommend to anyone

2 years agoWhen in yesterday to have my hair done form the first time, with them we my mum. We both loved our hair and the senior stylist Jen. Couldn't have asked for a better service, or salon environment. So calming and laid back, but warm and welcoming all at the same time! Will definitely be going back!!

2 years agoHair cut given has a mixed opinion towards it for me, didn't do even close to the picture shown to them, but for the price they atleast made it look passable.
Personally wasn't a fan of my hairstylist, felt uncomfortable and slightly judged. They also came across as quite rude, probably not going back there again.

2 years agoWent for a restyle. Showed the hairdresser a picture of what I wanted. Got nothing like it, not even close. Was left almost completely shaven. I think she was rushing me as someone rang in sick and she was in the middle of doing a colour. I Went home and cried. I won't leave the house without wearing a cap. It's that BAD...........?

3 years agoCalled to make an appointment Wednesday last week, I was booked in for Thursday morning at 9am. I showed up for my appointment but no one was there, I tried calling the number and left a voicemail, I even sent a text. I waited 15 minutes for someone to show up and they didn’t. I didn’t even get a call or text to apologise which is just outright rude! I was a new customer who had never been before but if this is how they like to do business, money spends anywhere!
