1 year agoReally not happy with how my in laws were treated. They took in an iron to repair and the older lady went on at them for ages about not bringing a box, even though it took her all of one minute to get one from the back, heard her curse them under her breath and tell them off for not getting the original extended guarantee - when it'd run out by now anyway! I have also had rude staff try and sell me stuff I didn't want and then get mad at me when I'd politely say no thanks. Definitely not going back to any Currys. Maybe treat customers with respect and don't be unprofessional.

1 year ago3rd time placing an order that states item in stock on the website and will be ready to collect in an hour. Only to then be emailed that itâll be ready to collect in several days. And even then itâs late or theyâve received the item but not notified us. Itâs a joke! Really expensive items too

1 year agoIf i could give a 0 star i would after the experience i had buying a ÂŁ1000 tv to find it broken and when took it back to shop they refused to do anything and said i must of broken it.it was still in the plastic protector..ive never shopped here since.

1 year agoVisited store today after an absolute nightmare with curry's customer service over my Dyson purifying fan i bought online, Shell was amazing her patience was outstanding with ringing customer service herself on my behalf, she was passed from pillow to post but in the end got to a resolution, she is a credit to the team, Thankyou Shell

1 year agoWarrington branch have in my opinion the most absolutely worst managers total not helpful or even try to resolve a issue I brought in and the only option wss according to the manager to send away for repair as that was curry's policy I though I was advices by citizens advice to stand my ground as customer I was not after a return I like replacement or pay the difference for a exchange. My Faulty item was less than 10 months old and I was told send it to panasonic but my issue was I bought it from Curry's and not panasonic and I was curry's customer not Panasonics. The curry's website states they will always work with the customer to get the right result or words to the effect but truth is once you given the money they don't care.

1 year agoGood prices and usually has what I want already in store rather than having to order it. However, the method they use for giving discount to Blue Light Card holders is a bit bizarre and a pain to do. Instead of just having a button on their til that says "5% blue light discount", customers have to go into their Blue Light App, follow the Currys section to get to a gift vouchers website, where you can type in any multiple of 10 to get on a gift card, and you only pay 95% of the price (so saving 5%). So if the item you want doesn't cost a multiple of ÂŁ10 you have to either overload it and have a few pounds left on it, or underload it and pay the remainder by cash or card đ

2 years agoBought a freezer from them paid for old freezer to be taken away. On delivery the delivery guy kept on refuring to me as Pal. Moaning that the old freezer was bigger than the new one.

2 years agoHaving used this store to collect online orders on a few occasions. My experience is very poor items are never ready to collect on time. The staff are extremely miserable and rude. Yet they advertise on tv about how their staff are trained. Basic customer service is clearly lacking.

2 years agoYou advertise stuff for sale then when you go IN STORE to view & buy it, guess what?!? They donât have it !!!! Stand ( in my case sit ) and wait for some assistance and they do anything to avoid helping. I ainât paying ÂŁ500 for something when I canât view it first! May as well shut the place down and let the homeless have another empty unit ! Gone down hill since the merge with PC World.

2 years agoUnfortunately curryâs is not what it used to be in store, I shop online now mainly due to poor selection of products on display. My latest visit was no different. Unfortunately this is a self perpetuating problem and the shops donât really want to stop it, online means less over heads and less staff cheaper running costs.

2 years agoWhy do you have stores? I went into my local store and what i needed was not in stock, people wonder why are stores closing, its because they don't have any stock, Currys staff asked we can order it for you but you know i could of done this from home anyway and most probably not from currys, I can order online from another comany and get it delivered next day to my home, the things you have for sale should be in stock or people will stop coming to them.

2 years agoWe went to Curry's to purchase a TV. They did not have the one we wanted in stock, even though it was advertised for sale. We did purchase a TV, but it was more expensive than the one we wanted. This has happened to us frequently with other purchases. We had to wait some time before someone came to deal with us and the customer service was poor. No offer of assisting us to our car with it.

3 years agoThe best curryâs ever. Friendly team. Particularly Shell , sheâs such a diamond and must be treasured and protected at all costs. The manager (tall slim one) is also one of my favourite staff ever. Wouldnât ever order online when I can pop in the store and get such a great service.

3 years agoRude and ignorant.See you then ignore you, chatting amongst themselves.That was b4 More recently 31st October Shocking Horrific experience leigh.Firstly fridge freezer I wanted they never had in stock,but was on show x2 but still put price up,on them.First went to buy they were cheaper,waited that long they put price up.Tv purchased in full,its not in,will be in tomorrow,im still waiting 5days later.When he was serving me at his desk,two ladys interrupted about ink cartridges,he got up buggers off seeing to them,all ignorant.This place leigh parsonage way is the worst currys EVER.

3 years agoCurry's is shocking yo deal with. Can't get to speak to anyone in store. Bought a product which when opened was obvious it had been returned. It was dirty and had labels stuck on by previous owner. Webchat promised leigh branch would phone me. 2 days later not heard anything, took product back. Given a new one, got home instruction booklet missing. Web chat told me to download it - 58 pages!!!!! Needless to say it will go back next time I am passing and will get a refund. Will not shop with this store again

3 years agoPre ordered the new iPhone 14 pro max for release date was fine until o got a call to say that sober wasnât gonna be in stock why let me preorder then ??? So changed colour to purple as they sad this one would be available for me as itâs a preorder Iâll get it real was day said come release day I go to the shop to find it wasnât available and I canât have it till the following Wednesday nearly a week later thatâs a complete joke the staff was very unhelpful and didnât wanna help in the slightest to resolve this issue never would I ever preorder using this place ever again.

4 years agoThe staff at Leigh did everything they could to help me to resolve my problem. The staff at head office [hani] whom I spoke to was less than helpful. Been sold a bundle online that isn't compatible, the in store staff did everything they could think of to refund me, even though the head office staff said it could not be done... careful what you buy online with currys....

4 years agoSeems that Currys have gone right down hill in recent times. Went in for a Dyson hoover, can't get them, went in for a laptop, out of stock, went in for a Motorola phone, been out of stock for three months now, another Moto phone, out of stock, a Samsung phone, out of stock. You can order them online for delivery tomorrow but none in stock, some people want to physically hold and look at what they are buying not order online, they will be whinging when stores are closing but what do they expect when most things are out of stock? Bring back carphone warehouse, much better service, stop trying to cut costs at the expense of customer service.

4 years agoWent in to buy something that was in stock on website, they said they didn't have it, so went out and ordered it on their app for pickup at same store. Went back in 15 mins later and surprise they had it ready for me!

4 years agoStaff I dealt with was very helpful. Unable to pick up laptop I wanted, have to wait till it gets delivered to the store. Could have had it delivered to my home, but was only available to be delivered on an all day slot. Did not want to have to sit around possibly all day waiting for it.

4 years agoLimited items on show, compared to their website. I was there at least 10 minutes looking at laptops. No-one spoke to me. I may be in my 60s but I have since spent nearly ÂŁ1k on a laptop directly from Acer.

We purchased 2 laptops, bags and 2 wireless mice for my work (children's charity). I would have given 5 stars but I couldn't purchase the printer/scanner I wanted as they had no stock. Thank you.

4 years agoI have been without a DVD player for many months and thought what the hell it's time to replace. It was priced at 24.99 and after help from an employee even though I thought I didn't want or need it! I purchased said item and at the checkout it was only 19.99? Happy chappy for a week now as I can play DVDs and CDs that I have been unable to do so so for a long time. If I die tomorrow I die happy. Thank you

4 years agoWonderful when in store and paying your money, but when trying to find your missing item on your delivery the customer service is unnecessarily frustrating. I spent over a thousand pounds yet I cannot get anyone to speak to regarding my missing tumble dryer. I will not be shopping there anytime soon.

4 years agoWent for a printer cartridge. I needed the better quality one but they didn't stock them so I got the lesser quality one but this was ÂŁ5 dearer than the better quality one I bought last time. Lesson learned.....buy on line.

4 years agoLarge shop. Wide isles and good layout. A wide range of products. I bought a Shark True pet hoover. Customer service is good. Lady helped me for 10 minutes at the counter to help me find my order via my phone. Did not seem a problem to her. Very patient with me. Screens in place at checkout due to Covid. The place seems very organised. Someone near the door to welcome you and help find what you are looking for if needed. Parking not a problem as on large retail park. Surrounded by other shops. Home Bargains, KFC, Sports direct among others but to name a few. Wheelchair accessible.

4 years agoStaff in store stood around in a group of four chatting. People are allowed to have a social chat if the store was well presented however I found products missing shelf edge labels, product information tickets and products not demo ready. All in all a bit of a mess and the manager needs reprimanding for poor standard. If it wasnât the fact I did get acknowledged this would have been a one star review.

5 years agoI dropped a laptop off for repair last week and today I went to collect it. Had been sent a link so I could track where my item was in the repair cycle and have had great communication throughout the whole experience. Staff in store were helpful, polite and friendly. For any technology and electrical needs, I would recommend Currys Leigh.

5 years agoSuperb customer service, staff are polite and helpful. I returned an item that had stopped working during the recent lockdown, literally took less than five minutes to process the return and get my replacement. Always happy to shop here.
